In central and western NSW, we find ourselves with a bountiful harvest but too few labourers. Of our 28 parishes, 13 are in need of clergy—not so much to ‘run a church’, but to serve as loving shepherds to our people; to share the love of Jesus, open his Word, and provide guidance, nourishment, and protection.

While some of these parishes will require financial assistance, we have unwavering faith that God will provide.

Ministry in our regional and rural areas is distinct—it emphasises people over programs, hands-on pastoral contact, and being a recognisable figure in the community (which itself opens doors of opportunity). When people sense your genuine love and care for them, they will be open and ready to be inspired in their relationship with Jesus.

Will you be fresh out of Bible college at the end of the year with a wealth of pre-college experience? It might be the perfect time to embed yourself in a community for the long haul. Bring your family, put down roots, and make a difference in the name of Jesus. If you’re seeking more experience first, we can explore an assistant/training role for a couple of years.
