Vineyard Labourer Job Details:
RJ & N CUA VINEYARDS requires 45 farm workers to assist with the grape harvest, pruning and general vineyard labouring for the upcoming grape season in the Red Cliffs area.
Experience in this field of work is beneficial, however not essential as training will be provided. Applicants must be able to work quickly and prepared to undertake physically demanding and repetitive work in an outdoor environment.
You must be available to commence work from early February, and be willing to commit to working for the duration of harvest (approx. 5-6 months).
Typically you will need to be available work 8-10 hours per day, 5-6 days per week including weekends. These hours can vary from week to week, and the actual days worked and times will be at the discretion of the employer.
Pays are paid on a fortnightly basis. Pay rates are on a fulltime basis (38 hrs per week on a fixed term contract) in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020 – Level 1, an hourly rate of $22.61 per hour. Piecework rates may be offered for the right applicant.
