ASSISTANT FARM MANAGER – HENNING, MN – WEEKLY SALARY FULL-TIME

Work week: Mon-Fri & nights/weekends as needed

Job Responsibilities

• Providing daily care for turkeys.
• Following animal care and bio-security guidelines
• Operating various types of equipment.
• Basic barn maintenance
• Assist with night and weekend checks
• Assist farm manager as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must meet all bio security guidelines, must not own, care for or handle pet birds, wild or domestic poultry or hogs.
• Must be detail orientated & have well developed written/ verbal communication skills.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must be able to work in various environmental conditions including dust, heat, cold.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule including days, nights and weekends as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous poultry experience.
• Previous management experience.
