What the job is all about

This is a busy, hands-on role where you’ll be the primary support for our residents. You won’t just be checking boxes; you’ll be making their day better. You’ll be:

• Providing Personal Care: Helping with the basics like bathing, dressing, grooming, and making sure everyone is comfortable.
• Keeping an Eye on Health: Taking vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature), helping with exercises, and serving meals.
• Being a Helping Hand: Moving residents safely (via wheelchair or stretcher), making beds, and making sure their rooms feel like home.
• Staying Connected: Answering call bells, chatting with residents during outdoor walks, and working closely with the rest of the medical team.

Are you the right fit?

We need people who are reliable and truly care about the quality of their work.

• Your Background: You have a Health Care Aide certificate (or a 1-2 year college diploma in a related field) and about a year of experience.
• Your Skills: You’re certified in First Aid and CPR and speak English clearly.
• The Physical Part: You’re comfortable being on your feet most of the day and can safely lift up to 50 lbs when helping residents move.
• Your Personality: You’re patient, organized, and a great teammate. You stay calm when things get busy and always keep the residents’ needs first.
