In this role, you’ll:

Pprovide high level business support by managing, reviewing and providing specialist advice on matters from the Ministers Officer and Department, policies strategies and operations to maximise the effectiveness and efficiency in accordance with administered legislation and ensure outcomes consistent with the operational and strategic plans.

You will also,

  • Monitor the inbox and triage matters effectively
  • Coordinate the reporting on Parliamentary items, Develop required reports in consultation with leaders and/ or teams to consistently meet business requirements and deadlines.
  • Support senior leaders with critical governance systems, registers, processes and data records. Assisting with GIPA requests and briefing notes
  • Manage the workflow and coordinate with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective and efficient delivery of on-time and high quality outcomes

You will be managing a dynamic workload through excellent planning, prioritisation, and time management skills to ensure timely delivery

About you

You are an experienced Coordination support professional with a proven ability to effectively contribute to a team that operates in a dynamic, sensitive and high volume environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement. You have a proven track record in managing various Parliamentary processes and possess an understanding of the machinery of government and various other requests/interactions with the Minister’s office. You are a collaborator by nature with the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Excellent reporting and communication skills (written and verbal) would be essential for you to excel in this role
