We are currently looking for a Golden Harvest seed sales representative in Minnesota. As a seed sales representative, you will lead a dedicated seed consultant in the Minnesota area and provide a wealth of local knowledge and agronomic expertise to deal with complex agricultural challenges.

You will promote the prosperity of farmers in the following ways:
_ Provides access to the industry’s broadest and most diverse hybrid product portfolio
_ Customized whole acre suggestion
_ Recruit, develop and manage your professional dealer team
_ Become a strong contributing team member in the broader seed sales team
_ In-depth understanding of customer needs
_ Consultative sales recognized expertise and trust with customers
_ Dairy Farm Consultation

Accountabilities:

  • Provide plans and offers to target customers through selected channel partners
  • Create demand at the customer level to ensure that customers understand our products and have further interest in Syngenta solutions
  • As the manager of Syngenta’s product portfolio, work with agronomy to make recommendations and manage on-site issues as needed
  • Guide seed consultants to implement product placement to improve customer satisfaction
  • Achieve sales, profit and market share targets in the region and region
  • Regularly collect and report market intelligence and related value chain insights
  • Manage operating budgets, variable sales expenses, and marketing funds within regional guidelines.
  • Develop your designated territory by adding new seed advisors
  • Accurately predict customers in the region
  • Develop regional business plans and seed consultant business plans to determine specific opportunities, must-wins and strategies to promote regional sales
  • Territories include: Cambridge, Sauk Center, St. Princeton, Cloud and Wilmar, Minnesota

Syngenta Qualifications:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Arts in Agriculture or Bachelor of Science, or a degree in non-agricultural subjects with important agricultural background or corresponding experience
  • More than 2 years of sales or sales leadership, able to work independently in a virtual team, agricultural sales experience is preferred
  • Strong customer-centric awareness and demonstrated sales and negotiation skills
  • Candidates must live in the area
  • This role does not provide visa guarantees

Preferred Requirements:

  • Knowledge of animal nutrition, this field mainly focuses on dairy farms and feed nutrition
  • Enogen knowledge, plus points
