PENETRATION TESTER The role is focused on delivering shared service center cybersecurity programs to its business units. The position will work very closely with business units point of contact/representative to ensure delivery of initiatives in day-to-day basis. The role will be the subject matter expert that will deliver the services and continuously develop processes. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Penetration Test Develop process, acquire tools, techniques to deliver the service. Performs penetration testing and attack simulations on business-critical infrastructure including internal servers, networks, and applications to identify and resolve security flaws. Experiments with various methods attackers could use to exploit information security vulnerabilities. Uses standard methodologies and techniques for conducting penetration testing, including developing standard toolsets, and automating testing. Completes security testing activities Completes threat assessment reports that outline penetration test findings and presents findings to management. 2. Threat hunting and threat intelligence Assist in threat hunting activities and work closely with team in delivering services related to threat monitoring of cyber threats. Manage threat intelligence feeds and systems to detect, classify and respond to security incidents in a timely and effective manner. Monitor the threat landscape and analyze emerging threats, trends and patterns to stay ahead of the threat actors. Develop and maintain threat intelligence reports, dashboards, and other information dissemination methods to provide stakeholders with up-to-date threat intelligence. Stay up to date with the latest technologies, tools, and methodologies in the threat intelligence field. REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATION Bachelor’s Degree in an IT/Computer related course. At least 3 years of working experience in cybersecurity focus on penetration testing and related methodologies. Highly conversant in English language. Critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail and follow up Background in IT technologies, processes, and security operations. Collaborative, responsible and has personal accountability. Able to work with a team and individually with minimal guidance. Resourceful, curious to learn and can adapt on emerging security technologies and platforms. PREFERRED QUALIFICATION Working experience in a shared services center. Strong hand-on technical experience in different tools for penetration testing Knowledge of various guides and security frameworks. (NIST, MITRE, CIS, ISO 27001, CVE, etc) Knowledge in IOCs, OWASP and types of attacks, malwares, threat actor and vulnerability. Knowledge in different security monitoring platforms and cloud technologies. Experienced working in a global or regional environment. At least One (1) Industry related IT certifications.
