An exciting opportunity for a Full Time Preschool Room Leader role has become available for a passionate and experienced person to join our established team of educators in a centre licenced for 41 children in Rhodes. The room to be managed is for children aged 3-5 years and needs someone who has strong people skills and can manage and lead by example!

Sponsorship will be available for an ECT Qualified educator!

The successful candidate will possess:

• ACECQA approved Early Childhood Teaching degree, or Diploma in Children’s Service
• Current WWCC, First aid certificate, and asthma & anaphylaxis training certificates
• Keen to step up and take responsibility
• Experience in working as an educator with some leadership qualities
• A passion and love for children

You will be responsible for the following:

• Reporting directly to the Centre Director.
• Overseeing and managing the day to day operation of the room and the staff within, and ensuring the smooth running of the preschool room.
• Overseeing the programming and event planning for the room.
• Overseeing the transition to school program.
• Communicating with staff, children, and families and establishing positive relationships.
