The Essentials

  • Where: Plant City, FL
  • When: August 3, 2026, through April 15, 2027
  • Pay: $14.00 an hour (Usually around 36 hours a week)

What the Job Looks Like

This job covers the whole lifecycle of the harvest. On any given day, you might be:

  • Planting, picking, counting, and stacking fresh strawberries and blueberries.
  • Helping with field setup, like hooking up drip irrigation, pulling up plastic, weeding, and pruning.
  • Keeping an eye out for quality control so only the best berries make the cut.
  • Depending on your experience, you might also get to drive a farm truck or tractor, or help out with some basic maintenance around the farm and housing.

Real Talk About the Work

We want to be completely honest about what to expect so you know exactly what you’re signing up for:

  • It’s a workout: You will be standing, walking, bending low, stretching, and lifting on a regular basis. You definitely won’t need a gym membership after a week with us!
  • Weather happens: Florida weather does a bit of everything. You’ll be working through hot sunny days, chilly mornings, wind, rain, and plenty of pollen.
  • Experience: We are looking for people who already have at least 2 months of farm experience so you can hit the ground running.
  • Safety & Reliability: We need people who show up on time and take safety seriously. To keep the workplace safe for everyone, we do run random drug tests after you’re hired (completely at our expense).
