We’re a registered NDIS provider helping people with disabilities live independently and on their own terms. We work across regional and remote Australia, focusing on person-centred care that respects culture and builds up the communities we serve.

Right now, we need experienced social workers for our Alice Springs team. If you’re qualified and based overseas, we can sponsor your visa to get you here.

What the job involves

• Doing psychosocial and functional assessments with NDIS participants
• Creating support plans tailored to each person’s goals and needs
• Helping people navigate systems that can be pretty complicated
• Connecting participants with housing, mental health services, jobs, healthcare, and community support
• Responding to crises with trauma-informed care
• Keeping detailed, professional case notes
• Working with families, carers, and other professionals as a team
• Practicing culturally safe approaches, especially with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Alice Springs

What you’ll need

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Social Work
• Current AASW membership or eligible to join
• At least 1 year working in disability, mental health, child protection, or aged care
• Good understanding of NDIS and how person-centred practice actually works
• Strong communication skills and ability to advocate for people
• Cultural competency and respect for diverse communities
• Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening, and Police Check (or able to get them sorted)
• Happy to live and work in regional Alice Springs
• Driver’s licence would be handy
