Overview of the Role

The Senior Advisor, Talent Management and DE&I will report to the VP Talent Management and DE&I and will work within a highly collaborative and engaged team to develop and launch initiatives supporting organizational effectiveness, talent development and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion across the Canadian Division. The person will be a champion for DE&I, will successfully build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and design and execute creative ways to support the Talent strategy.

How you will make contributions that matter:

  • Develop and launch initiatives related to Talent Management, support the succession planning and leadership development strategy, collaborating with HR partners across the Canadian Division
  • Manage the learning and development program offerings; track and measure participation and outcomes
  • Keep abreast of emerging Talent strategy trends and evolving innovations in the external market ensuring practices are progressive and future focused
  • Develop and implement programs and initiatives aimed at advancing the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion priorities with internal and external partners to ensure DE&I principles are embedded within our day-to-day operations as well as in the organization’s core practices
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, and design and execute creative ways to develop Saputo’s approach to DE&I
  • Co-Lead DE&I Council meetings, and continue to evolve the approach to ERGs
  • Identify and build relationships with external diverse partners within communities across Canada
  • Leverage data and survey results to drive initiatives, programs, and adjustments to strategy

You are best suited for the role if you have the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • 5 – 7 years experience in HR with three years of relevant Talent Management or DE&I experience
  • Project management experience including initiating and managing multiple projects
  • Knowledge about diversity and inclusion, and HR industry trends
  • Strong communication skills, can communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders
  • Solution oriented; have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Bilingual in French and English (written and spoken) – as you will be interacting regularly with stakeholders and partners across all our Canadian locations and their communities
