At Syngenta, we are working hard to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in the agricultural field, and provide leading seed innovations to promote the prosperity of farmers. Our seed agronomy team is currently looking for an agronomist for Golden Harvest Seeds in Kansas.
- You will promote the prosperity of farmers in the following ways
- As a product and technical expert for corn and soybean seeds, Syngenta and competitive products
Lead the product training process for Jiahe employees and customers - Provide localized and targeted product, technical and agronomic information and advice for regional managers, sales representatives, channel partners, customers and potential customers
Accountability
- Evaluate experimental trials to help train sales staff for new product launches
- Provide marketing input for product progress
- Provide opinions on production plans and product mix
- Improve pricing and product competitive intelligence
- Support the development of product-based sports in the region
- Promote Syngenta products in conferences, field trips and one-on-ones
- Provide guidance and directly participate in handling service calls as needed
- Support and coordinate drawing positions and entries in designated areas
- Analyze and interpret the data used for promotion, and serve as a pivot point for Syngenta to amplify the story locally
- In-depth knowledge of the seed industry
- Territories include: Emporia, Kansas City and Topeka, Kansas
Qualifications:

_ Bachelor in agronomy or related field
_ More than 2 years of agronomy or sales experience, with a strong technical background or more than 2 years of R&D work experience, and a deep understanding of sales and business

Preferred requirement
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and techniques
- Understand statistical principles and data analysis
- Important technical knowledge in product portfolio, product pipeline, and product value proposition.
- Agronomy theory-knowledge of agricultural best practices, seed technology, crop protection
- Understand segmentation strategies and priorities
