• Temporary Part-Time 15.2 hrs until 30 June 2023 (with the possibility of extension)
• Located in Berry
• Salary starting from $89,707 pa + super (pro rata)

South East Local Land Services is seeking a highly skilled Agricultural Advisor to:

• Work directly with land managers, livestock producers, contractors, and key industry groups to deliver projects with a focus on nutrient management, soil testing, irrigation efficiency, and effluent system assessments.
• Coordinate delivery of on-ground riparian works such as fencing, revegetation and sediment control activities
• Provide high-quality agricultural and environmental extension & advice to land managers and producers through stakeholder consultation, projects, workshops and field days.
• Facilitate partnerships and collaborate with peak industry bodies and key partners (such as DPI Agriculture and Dairy NSW) to support the delivery of best management practice programs.
• Manage, monitor, and report on project outcomes.

Additional Information:

A talent pool may be created from this recruitment action for ongoing and temporary roles of the same standard that may become available for filling over the next eighteen months.
