Got experience working with meat? Know your way around a band saw and a boning knife? We’re looking for hardworking butchers to join the team at our meat processing facility in Guelph. This is a great opportunity for those already in Canada—or looking to move here with LMIA support.

What’s the Job Like?

It’s hands-on, physical work in a cold and sometimes smelly environment (let’s be real—it’s a meat plant). But if you’ve done this kind of work before, you already know the drill.

Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:

• Cutting down whole carcasses into manageable pieces
• Trimming and prepping different meat cuts
• Removing bones like a pro
• Taking care of custom/special orders when needed

Tools You’ll Be Using

• Band saws
• Good old-fashioned hand tools (sharp knives, etc.)

What You Need to Bring

• Around 3–5 years of butchering experience
• No diploma needed — skills speak louder than paperwork
• Able to stand for long shifts and lift heavy stuff
• Great hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Comfortable in a fast-paced setup and working to deadlines
• You’ll need to clear a basic security check and criminal record check
