Below is a sample of common summer internship and new graduate opportunities offered by our Trimble Department of Agriculture. Qualified applicants will study an agricultural degree and have relevant knowledge and experience. Experience or knowledge of precision agriculture is preferred.
These are not active open positions, but a place for you to express your interest in future short positions that may not be listed today.
The main location is Westminster, Colorado.

Agriculture Management Internship:
- Support the next phase of product release by the product management team.
- Familiar with product requirements
- Work with developers to ensure that new features are created based on marketing requirements.
- Cooperate with the marketing communications department to develop trainer documents, end-user documents and announcements
- Work with development teams on complex, multi-dimensional projects and learn valuable leadership skills
- Know how to work effectively under pressure and be part of a team.
- Manage the advanced release/beta plan for the new phase of the solution-collect user feedback and use it to shape the product
Technical Support Engineer Internship:
- Provide technical sales assistance and technical support for precision agriculture hardware and software products to distribution partners, end users and internal Trimble teams to solve a wide range of problems
- Provide opportunities to interact with precision agriculture and GPS systems used by modern farmers. This includes autonomous driving remote equipment, implement and machine control, and crop sensors.
- Participate in technical training for employees and customers to use the company’s products
- Diagnose out-of-the-box failures and warranty replacement
Market Intelligence Internship:
- Work with the field sales team to identify customers who have a deep understanding of available technologies and learn to collect the most value from their ideas
- Work directly with major distributors and customers to understand what their unique pain points are, and learn to merge and filter them into logical and coherent points for consumption and ideas for larger teams
- Learn to be an effective communicator and advocate market demand, while adjusting market demand with a multi-regional perspective and education
Test Engineer Internship:
- As a testing intern, you will work on projects including onboard system testing, performance data collection, and automated software testing.
- Prepare our next-generation tools and technologies for market release by using these tools and technologies in the field and in the office and documenting the workflow and performance
- Provide product support team and documentation team with pre-release technical information and document technical content, as well as post-release help to solve problems
- Learn and execute best practices in product and solution testing
Sales Support Internship:
- Work with sales and marketing teams to define regional target markets for key customer groups.
- Analyze data, revenue forecast, after-sales opportunity areas, PAM/TAM analysis, live interviews
- Assist sales to follow up lead generation activities
- Work with field sales and support teams to resolve customer interests
- Create weekly sales call list
- Create reseller sales resources for field sales, update and launch new tools for internal and external channel product sales resources, guides, “how to” and frequently asked questions

Education and Experience Required:

- Bachelor or master degree in agricultural systems management, agronomy, agricultural engineering or similar majors
- Experience in GIS, GPS and/or other positioning solutions
- Requires 1 year internship or work experience
