Category Manager Dairy Products Long Shelf Life Job Details:

Role Responsibility: Responsible for developing and executing a consistent Sales & Marketing strategy for Dairy Category. Driving category sales to achieve the top line, bottom line, contribution margin for the category. Own project management of the NPD process end to end (Ideation, creation of product, consumer validation, in market launch) Develop entry strategy and launch of new products. This will involve developing the full marketing mix including operations strategy, launch specifics and all ATL/BTL initiatives. Develop and execute strategy to expand to new geographies and export markets. S/He would also be custodian of the category portfolio and the overall brand architecture pertaining to all the products in the category. S/He will drive delivery of the Annual Operating plan by providing effective marketing support to ensure the following : o Value creation o Brand building & awareness o Effective Communication though optimized use of different channels of communication o Develop sales promotion schemes in collaboration with Sales o Drive effective execution of ATL & BTL activities within defined budget Anticipating future consumer needs and incorporating into the brand development process. Understands the consumer and market trends through the market research efforts of the company. Evaluate brand portfolio including brand definition & proposition, advertising concept, pricing, packaging, place and promotion for each category & brand Custodian of price, product and pack changes in line with regional market dynamics. Developing & implementing trade marketing strategy in line with brand strategy. Develop, supervise and improve process to link entire marketing activities with Sales activities. Ensuring smooth interface & collaboration between Brand Marketing and Sales teams. Designing and executing trade / channel programs to drive business growth Position Requirements: Qualification – MBA / PGDM Marketing from a reputed B-School. Experience – 2-4 years of experience in Category Management Ability to work independently and manage the entire category Sense of ownership, accountability and result orientation Travel – Willing to travel as per business requirements
