Salary: $70000 – $74000 PA

We are looking for vibrant, passionate Chefs to join our team at the historical Pinsent Hotel.  We are a busy, multi entertainment venue, located in beautiful regional Victoria – Wangaratta, in the heart of the High Country & surrounded by wineries & fresh produce, our venue is well known for its dining & amazing meals.  

The role includes, but is not limited to:

• Preparing, cooking and plating dishes as per our menu/dining procedures
• Following & implementing HACCP regulations
• Working a variety of rostered shifts including days, nights & weekends
• Communicating with the Head Chef & team
• Assisting in cleaning down stations at the end of service
• Prep work for the next service
• Working with Front of House staff
• Ensuring that your work area, equipment and section are kept clean at all times, in accordance with health and hygiene, and following our OH&S policies

To be considered, you must have the following:

• Minimum Cert 2 Commercial Cookery
• Proven previous experience
• Ability to move and demonstrate skills for the following workstations: Larder, Grill, Pans & Fryer
• Excellent communication skills and time management
• Attention to detail, exceptional food presentation and strong organisational skills!
