General Farm Hand Job Description:

Are you an experienced farm hand looking for a new opportunity in Central Queensland? Our client is seeking a dedicated and skilled Farm Hand to join their team, specializing in dryland and irrigation cropping. If you have a minimum of 2 years of farming experience and are proficient in operating farming machinery, this could be the perfect role for you.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with dryland and irrigation cropping operations
• Operate and maintain farming machinery and equipment
• Perform land preparation, planting, and harvesting tasks
• Monitor and manage irrigation systems
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on machinery
• Support general farm duties as required

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years previous experience in farming
• Proficiency in operating and maintaining farming machinery
• Knowledge of dryland and irrigation cropping techniques
• Strong work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new farming practices
• Valid driver’s license (additional licenses are a plus)
