19/ Farm Supervisor Pakenham

As the Farm Supervisor/2IC, reporting to the Farm Manager onsite, you will be:
Responsible for:
- Workplace Health and Safety
- Supervising up to 15 staff and conducting compliance training for the site
- Work planning and prioritizing
- Cost control and labor efficiency within defined areas
- Ensuring company targets, minimum standards, and animal welfare objectives are achieved.

- Experience in guiding, and implementing, processes, and systems
- Willingness to coach and develop team members
- Organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- IT skills
- Previous farming experience is desirable
- Mechanically minded

As this is a day-to-day operation the successful applicant will need to live in close proximity to the farm as you will be a second response to emergency alarm calls.
You will have a flexible attitude to work hours as the rotating roster requires early mornings and weekend work, applicants must possess good communication and computer skills, be mechanically minded, able to undertake physical work, and have demonstrated experience as a team player.
