Senior Gas apprentices will be considered as well

Responsibilities:

Boilers and Gas System diagnostics, troubleshooting and problem resolution
Test combustion equipment and controls for issues
Dismantle malfunctioning systems and test components using electrical and mechanical testing equipment
Replace defective parts and reassemble repaired systems
Observe and test system operation using gauges and test instruments and make necessary adjustments to ensure safe and reliable system operations
Estimate, order and install materials and supplies needed to maintain equipment in good working condition
Keep accurate records of repairs and replacements made and cause of malfunction

Compensation negotiable based on experience and skill set.

Requirements:

Oil Burner license is required
Gas Technician – A license preferred or wiling to get their Gas license.
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
HVAC qualifications considered an asset
