Roles and Responsibilities
Enhancing data visualization on the shopfloor:
- Increasing data visualization on the Shopfloor, by creating and sustaining good data practices to improve operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with the operations to problem solve data challenges and jointly develop innovative data strategies to optimize outputs and reduce waste.
- Standardise visualization formats and templates in accordance with FLIGHT DECK principles.
- Monitor and analyze data, constantly improving processes and enhancing capabilities.
- Provide reports on weekly basis to support delivery of SQDC.
Improving Data Network Integration:
- Implementing strategies to integrate and update our data networks, ensuring seamless flow and facilitated accessibility.
- Interface directly with the operation, and cross-functionally, to leverage our integrated data network to improve data analytics capability.
- Support strategic project development activities within your subject matter area in order to align initiatives with the site’s digital roadmaps.
- Contribute to the development and integration of I4 projects, creating new data sources such as part tracking or OEE systems.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing data accessibility, increasing work continuity, and driving data-driven decision-making across the organization.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Formal qualification or proven experience with either Software Programming, Data Science or a related field.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools.
- Strong skills in relevant programming languages.
- Experience with database systems and data integration platforms.
- Familiarity with GE’s proprietary systems and tools.
