Family Partner – Mental Health Support (Visa Sponsorship Available)

Job Position: Family Partner – Mental Health Support (Visa Sponsorship Available)
Company: NSCS North Suffolk Community Services
Location: Revere, MA, USA.
Salary: $38,000.00 To $45,000.00 Annually

At North Suffolk Community Services (NSCS), we believe in the power of lived experience. We’re currently looking for Family Partners to support families caring for youth with serious emotional or behavioral needs. If you’ve been a parent or primary caregiver of a child with special needs — especially mental health-related — your insight and empathy could make all the difference for another family.

This is a hybrid position, combining both remote support and community-based visits depending on family needs.

What You’ll Do

  • Build a supportive, one-on-one relationship with parents or caregivers to help them navigate the challenges of raising a youth with serious emotional disturbances.
  • Empower families by coaching, educating, and guiding them toward achieving treatment goals.
  • Assist with coordination of care and communicate with providers inside and outside NSCS.
  • Help families access local resources, strengthen their parenting skills, and feel more confident in managing their child’s needs.
  • Join care planning meetings and work closely with our Care Coordinators to ensure that family voices are heard.
  • Keep in regular contact with families and maintain documentation as part of the treatment process.

What You’ll Bring

  • Lived experience as a parent or caregiver of a youth with special needs (preferably mental health-related).
  • Experience supporting families involved in child and family services (mental health, education, DCF, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Bilingual in Spanish? That’s a big plus — let us know on your application!

Education requirements (any of the following):

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services + 1 year of experience
  • Associate degree + 1 year of experience
  • High School diploma/GED + 2 years of relevant experience

Additional requirements:

  • Valid MA driver’s license and ability to travel for community visits.

What We Offer

  • Visa sponsorship available – including H-1B and permanent resident card support
  • Eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
  • Competitive salary plus a $3,500 annual language differential for Spanish-speaking staff
  • Generous paid time off: 2 weeks vacation (3 weeks after 1 year), 12 sick days, and 11 paid holidays
  • Health & dental coverage with strong employer contribution
  • Life insurance, disability, FSA options, and 403(b) retirement plan with employer match
  • Training, internal advancement opportunities, and employee referral bonuses
  • Discounts on movie tickets, access to tuition remission, and more!
