Our Farm Centre in Spruce View, Alberta is looking for a part-time Farm Centre Associate to join our team.

Part-time: 24 – 36 hours/week. Benefits eligible after 3 months.

This position provides benefits; if you are coming from out of province, please remember you need to have AB health coverage to be covered by our plan provider.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends -mornings (8:00 AM start), afternoons and evenings (up to 5:45 PM).

Responsibilities:

  • Customer service,
  • Operation of till system,
  • Daily cash-ups,
  • Clean shelves, bins, displays, and floors,
  • Stock, face, rotate, and count inventory,
  • Product labelling: signage, pricing, and product numbers,
  • Order product as required and create purchase orders,
  • Receive and unpack product,
  • Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptional customer service skills,
  • Attention to detail and quality,
  • Ability to work independently and in a team,
  • AG/Animal health experience is an asset,
  • Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs.),
  • Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
