Farm Labourer Job Details:
We require 100 workers for farm labouring on a stonefruit farm in Swan Hill, VIC.
The work includes harvesting and pruning of seasonal fruit.
Work will commence in May 2024 and continue for 9 months.
Successful candidates will be offered employment on a casual basis and paid under the Horticulture Award 2020.
Individuals must have a resilient attitude towards outdoor work, be capable of thriving in various weather conditions and be willing to accommodate flexible schedules, including weekends and early morning starts.
Physical fitness is paramount, as tasks entail lifting, bending, and carrying heavy harvest buckets on uneven terrain. You will also need to sustain positions like bending and squatting for extended periods throughout the day.
This job has opportunities for upskilling and training.
Workers must be able to pass a medical/drug test.
