Apple Pickers Job in Canada - LMIA Approved for Foreign Workers

Job Position: Apple Pickers Job in Canada – LMIA Approved for Foreign Workers
Vacancy: 8 Vacancies
Company: Filsingers Organic
Salary: $17.60 hourly / 40 hours per week
Location: Ayton, ON, Canada

Are you someone who loves being outdoors and doesn’t mind a bit of hard, physical work? At Filsingers Organic, we believe in growing food the right way. We’re looking for 8 motivated people to join our team in Ayton, Ontario, for the upcoming season.

We are LMIA-approved, which means we are ready and authorized to welcome international workers who want to bring their skills and work ethic to our organic orchards.

What the job actually looks like

Farm life is busy and physically demanding, but there’s nothing quite like the satisfaction of a successful harvest. On a typical day, you’ll be:

  • Hand-Harvesting: Carefully picking apples and vegetables to make sure our organic produce stays in top shape.
  • Orchard Care: Using traditional techniques like hoeing between the rows to keep the soil healthy.
  • Physical Work: You’ll be on your feet all day—bending, crouching, kneeling, and sometimes lifting crates up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • The Environment: We work in the real world! That means being comfortable with heights (on ladders), heat, and the occasional wet or damp morning.

Who will thrive here?

You don’t need a degree or a diploma to join us—we value reliability and a positive attitude above all else. You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You’re Physically Fit: You enjoy staying active and can handle a fast-paced, repetitive, and demanding workday.
  • You’re a Team Player: We’re a small community here. We look for people who are flexible, helpful, and show up ready to work with their teammates.
  • You Value Quality: We care about our organic standards, and we need people who take pride in doing a job well.

What you’ll need to bring

  • Safety First: You’ll need your own steel-toed boots and a good pair of work gloves.
  • Language: Basic English is needed so we can all communicate safely on the farm.
  • The Process: Since this is a food-production role, a medical exam is part of the standard safety check.
