Caregiver (CNA, HHA, PCA)- Care Suites Job Details:

Harmony Gardens Assisted Living, a beautiful, brand-new building in Maplewood, MN, is hiring compassionate Caregivers (CNA, HHA, PCA) for our brand new Care Suites that will be opening September 2023. We offer on-the-job training, generous benefits, and a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus!

There are Part-Time, benefit eligible positions available working varied schedules including every other weekend and holiday.

Shift Hours

2:00pm – 10:30pm (Evening Shift)
3:00pm – 9:00pm (Evening Shift)
10:00pm – 6:30am (Night Shift)

What does a Caregiver do?

Help each resident reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
Assist with treatments as delegated by the Registered Nurse per individualized care plan.
Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse and respiration as instructed. Report changes or concerns to the nurse.
Document services performed on computerized charting system.
Observe resident and report any changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, reaction, and appetite, to the supervisor.
Assist the resident with personal care which may include the following: shampooing of hair, assist with showering/ bathing, fingernail and foot care, and medication administration.
Perform additional tasks as needed.

What does a Caregiver require?

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Attendant (PCA) experience preferred, but not required. We will train you!
A passion for geriatric care.
Strong communication skills to interact with residents and staff.
Ability to work a consistent work schedule.

Location: Harmony Gardens Assisted Living is a part of Cassia and will be located in the East Metro. Address: 1438 County Road C East, Maplewood, MN 55109
