Citrus Workers Required Job Details:

QUEBEC CITRUS require 120 workers to assist with the citrus harvest, thinning, picking and packing for the 2024 season in the Mundubbera area.

We are only looking for applicants who can handle hard work and long hours. To be considered you will need to be reliable, strong, physically fit, self-motivated, a hard worker and have your own transport and accommodation as the farm is 20km out of town with no public transport.

You must be available to work from mid December and be committed to working across the whole week including weekends for 8-10 hours per day, and for the duration of up to 8-9 months. Actual days and hours worked will be at the discretion of the employer, and will vary from week to week. Flexibility in your availability is crucial in horticulture, as crop growth/harvest is weather-driven and may be intermittent.

Pays are paid into your bank account on a weekly basis. Pay rates are in accordance with the Horticulture Award 2020 ($28.26 per hour). Piecework rates may be offered to suitable candidates.

Workers must be available for the duration of the entire employment period.
