About the Company

AFCO Distribution, a wholesale distribution company located in Spokane Valley, WA serves over 800 retail customers in Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, and Alaska. The company distributes over 7,000 products including animal feed, garden and nursery supplies, wildlife products, pet food and supplies, fencing and livestock equipment. Customers receive weekly orders within our routed territories. Delivery is provided by a fleet of company trucks from the company’s distribution center warehouse. The employees of AFCO Distribution take great pride in offering excellent products at competitive prices with our benchmark customer service.

About the Job

This is a full-time, 40+ hours per week position. Routes consist of a four-day work week with three straight days off or back to back days off with a separate 3rd day. Qualified applicants must be available to work evenings and/or weekends as needed.

The current schedule for this position has two routes. It starts with deliveries along our Oregon route on Tuesday-Wednesday, then deliveries to our Tri-Cities/Yakima route on Thursday-Friday.

Core Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

  • Maintaining a driver’s log in accordance with DOT regulations.
  • Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
  • Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
  • Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
  • Loading and unloading cargo while operating cargo handling equipment.
  • Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Stacking and sorting delivered cargo.

Hiring Requirements

  • Class A license
