Clerk, Pension Administration Job Details:

The Role

The incumbent must be passionate about meeting the needs of internal and external clients and continuously taking on new challenges. They will have the opportunity to play a key role in the organization and success of our Pension Administrative team in our Toronto office. The main role is administrative support, including scanning, mail processing, filing, producing documents (printing, photocopying, binding), along with various tasks to support the team.

Performance objectives:

Excellence

  • Provide intermediate / advanced level support in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint and expertise in Microsoft applications for our client teams
  • Seek out and seize key opportunities for learning and professional development
  • Ensure a high degree of quality control by proofreading and revising

People

  • Build relationships internally and collaborate effectively on cross-functional teams
  • Demonstrate natural ease and effectiveness when dealing with clients, portfolio managers and colleagues at all levels

Clients

  • Ensure project implementation meets or exceeds client expectations
  • Increase efficiency by identifying ways of improving the processes

The Requirements

  • Administrative support skills, including scanning, mail processing, filing, producing documents (printing, photocopying, binding) and data entry
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Exceptional problem solving, critical thinking and customer service skills
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate several projects at once
  • Sound reasoning and an acute sense of urgency in carrying out projects to completion
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude when working under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Flexibility to adapt to working with different types of people and assignments
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in verbal and written English
  • Ability to assume full responsibility for the work assigned
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel; Microsoft certification is an asset
