Corporate Café Cook

$18+/hour – No Weekends or Evenings – PTO, Paid Benefits, 401(k)

General Summary: The JBS USA Corporate Office is seeking a disciplined and reliable individual to join our café team. The café serves a variety of prepared and made-to-order breakfast and lunch items to paid customers, consisting of our team members and their visitors.

Responsibilities:

• Complete daily prep sheets.
• Prepare and stock items in bulk and on serving line stations.
• Serve buffet-style and made-to-order items.
• Assist with internal catering orders, set-up and clean-up.
• Uphold all food and team member safety requirements.
• Ensure a clean and sanitized prep and serving working environment.
• Cook made-to-order breakfast.
• Manage the grill station during lunch with the assistance of peers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Previous restaurant, back-of-house, line, or prep cook experience is strongly preferred.
• Previous food safety training and experience is strongly preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to work well with others, within a team setting.
• A demonstrated ability to engage and provide exceptional customer service.
• Has reliable transportation.
• Is reliable with cash handling/cash register duties
• Able to multi-task, follow instructions, and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time, stoop, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 20 lbs. with consistency.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment.
• Paid Time Off: Sick leave, vacation, and six company-observed holidays.
• 401(k): Company-match begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule.
• Base salary: $18.00/hour. May be negotiable, depending on experience.

This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and takes into account various factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to a candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiencies for the role.
