Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Custodian to join our team! In this role you will get to support the Faro Mine Site.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Clean and keep in an orderly condition working areas and washrooms, or premises of an office, apartment, or house.
Duties involve a combination of the following: vacuuming, sweeping, mopping or scrubbing, and polishing floors; removing trash, and other refuse; dusting equipment, furniture, or fixtures; polishing metal fixtures or trimmings; managing supplies; and cleaning lavatories, showers, and restrooms.
Duties may include removal of debris in and around the facilities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What Required Skills You’ll Bring:
High school diploma or equivalent
3+ years of experience
Must be able to stand for long period of time
Ability to lift up to 20 kg
Valid class 5 driver’s license
Proven ability to concentrate, pay attention to detail, organize, priority set and be a team player
Proven understanding of safe work practices and mitigating risk
Ability to work with little supervision and function in a multidiscipline environment
