Responsibilities:
- Maintain a high standard of animal health and welfare on the farm
- Follow all safety protocols at all times
- Feed and water animals on a daily basis
- Monitor animal health and perform routine checkups
- Participate in milking, calving, and other farm activities as needed
- Assist with farm maintenance and repairs
- Manage daily record keeping and reporting of livestock activities
- Ensure animal housing is clean and secure at all times
- Monitor feed inventory, order supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in dairy farming or the agriculture industry is preferred but not required
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not required
