The Client:
An iconic, luxury leader who have hotels, resorts, and residence developments around the world. Their properties are renowned for the space & privacy to offer the ultimate peaceful stay to guests. They are seeking a luxurious Executive Chef to open & oversee 4 Food & Beverage outlets in their upscale commercial property in the heart of the Financial District in Miami.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the operations of 4 Food & Beverage Departments
- Lead a diverse and dynamic working environment of 100+ staff members
- Manage all culinary day to day operations to the highest standards
- Ensures high quality, palatable and well-presented foods are served
- Modify menus or create new ones that meet exceptional standards
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for employees and guests
- Provide leadership and strategy to inspire all team members to deliver exceptional cuisine and drive financial success
- Preserve excellent internal and external guest service
- Recruit & train talented personnel
- Oversee compliance and adhere to all health and safety regulations
The Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Chefin a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Range of luxury hotel and fine dining restaurant experience
- Michelin Experience is a plus
- Must have strong and effective leadership skills
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
- Up to date with food and beverages trends and best practices
