Your main responsibilities will include assisting with livestock management, crop cultivation, and general maintenance tasks. Responsibilities:
- Assist in the care and management of livestock, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health
- Assist in crop planting, irrigation, fertilization, and harvesting
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm buildings and facilities
- Perform general repairs and maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Provide support during busy periods such as seeding or harvest seasons
- Collaborate with the farm manager and other team members to achieve production targets
Requirements:
- Prior experience working on a farm is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- A genuine interest in agriculture and a willingness to learn new skills
- Physical fitness to handle manual labor tasks in various weather conditions
- A valid driver’s license is preferred but not essential
- An ability to work well within a team as well as independently when required
- A positive attitude with excellent communication skills
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of animal welfare and sustainable farming practices
- Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons if necessary
