Plasman, Cleveland Manufacturing – 3000 West 121st Street, Cleveland, Ohio 44111 is immediately seeking a new member to join our team as:
General Labor-Friday-Sunday 12 Hour Shifts
RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES:
The responsibilities and authorities for this position include, but are certainly not limited to:
- Perform general cleaning and maintenance duties
- Organize and maintain inventory, supplies and equipment
- Handling and preparing materials
- Assisting Process Lead and Maintenance Technician with all assigned tasks
- Maintain and ensure 5S standards are followed at all times. Will be held accountable for assigned areas cleanliness and organization.
- Monitor production reports every two hours (two-hour board) for accuracy of parts produced, downtime recorded, and scrap recorded.
- Recommend and participate in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Promote an atmosphere of teamwork at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
- Completion of any other duties as assigned.
- Follow established 5S layouts.
- Abide by Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct
HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Team Leader is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program including the Occupational Health & Safety Act, Industrial regulations, WHMIS regulations and Company Health & Safety policies. Reference: JDA-003 Health & Safety Responsibilities (Addendum to Worker Job Descriptions).
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum education qualifications:
- High School diploma and/or equivalent preferred.
- HEALTH & SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The General Laborer is responsible for complying with the Company Health & Safety Program including the Occupational Health Legislation, regulations, standards and Company Health & Safety policies. Reference: JDA-003: Worker/Supplied Labour Health & Safety Responsibilities (Addendum to Worker Job Descriptions). * MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR DESIGNATION REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum education qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred * MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum work experience qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- MINIMUM TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:
This position requires the following minimum training:
- SDS
- Quality, Environmental Health & Safety, and other relevant Company Policy awareness
- New Employee Orientation (when required)
- Successful Completion of Gross and Obvious test.
