The Opportunity
Our client is looking for a team to deliver a project which has the opportunity to strengthen Australia’s partnerships and benefits.
As the IT Desktop Support Technician, you will be the primary contact point for technical escalation within the department to existing internal resolver groups, and responsible for assisting with incident management and request fulfilment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Queue management via the department’s service management tool
- Face-to-face user support and training (including for VIP staff)
- Windows OS and Office 365 System Administration
- Knowledge Base Development
- Providing videoconferencing support to departmental staff
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Ability to quickly learn new processes and procedures

- Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with good attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and manage priorities
Interstate applicants will be considered, however training on-site for a minimum period of 8 weeks is mandatory.
