As a Lead HR Strategy & Organizational Design, you will be an innovative, inclusive, strategic and collaborative partner in cultivating and sustaining a culture of continuous learning. You will work closely with our staff, leaders, and the rest of the People Team to lead HR strategy and transformation through the needs analysis, project planning, program co-design, implementation and evaluation of a wide variety of initiatives. You will be responsible for partnering with internal clients to diagnose issues and determine solutions including assessing organizational development needs leveraging a systems thinking and change management approach, recommending appropriate solutions through a equity lens by engaging impacted groups, co-designing through diverse working groups, implementing, and evaluating appropriate talent management and HR strategy interventions.

Here’s what you will get to do:

  • Partner with key stakeholders and plan, build and deliver projects and programs for the organization
  • Lead/project manage divisional organizational structure design discussions and work
  • Participate in the co-design and implementation of the equitable and inclusive Employee and/or Leader Performance Management systems including environmental scans, logistics, design, communication, implementation, training and on-going support
  • Keep abreast of current organizational design trends and change management methodologies
  • As a thought partner and coach, you provide other consultants with advice, mentorship, and support in learning and development programs
  • As a trusted advisor to senior leaders, you offer advice and recommendations on talent management and HR strategy, organization design, and change management
  • Other duties as required

  • Remote / Hybrid Work Program
  • Employee Engagement Survey roll out, analysis, and report out
  • Organization design and transformational change strategic development

Here’s what you need to have:

  • Education and/or relevant experience in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education or a related field
  • Experience with a key focus on project management and program design is an asset
  • Experience developing inclusive instructional and educational programming using a needs assessment, change management, and adult learning principles
  • Relationship building skills with experience in partnering, influencing, coaching and creating credibility with managers and the people team
  • Change management skills with demonstrated ability to act as a catalyst for change within and across the business;
  • Strong diagnostic skills and proven ability to evaluate options/alternatives and develop recommendations for complex and multi-dimensional problems/issues;
  • Able to maintain confidentiality concerning sensitive issues in a professional manner
  • Superior communication and presentation design skills
  • Comfort in leveraging new and innovative technology to undertake key aspects of the role

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to be able to communicate with and influence individuals on all levels of in a highly matrixed organization including senior leadership

  • Strong conceptual skills; systems thinking and ability to deal with ambiguity;
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong research and analytical skills
  • Superior digital skills
  • Certified in either Human Resources Professional/Leader (CHRP or CHRL), Executive Coaching (Gallup Strengths), Project Management, Organization Design, Change Management or working towards certification is an asset
  • Proficiency of MS Office applications
  • Strong project management skills
  • French language is an asset

Work setup:

We offer employees, in roles that are conducive to remote work, the flexibility and the right mix of remote and in-office work. Acknowledging that the primary works space will be remote work from home, but there will be times when onsite presence is appropriate just as there will be times when onsite presence may not be possible.

The expectation is that remote work locations, as part of the Flex First program, will be in the employee’s place of residence, and adhere to all THP policies and procedures, with special consideration towards privacy. Since employees should be available to return to the workplace with 24 hours’ notice, remote work outside of the province or country is not acceptable.
