SALES MANAGER, KATHERINE, NT Job Details:

An exciting position has become available for a Sales Manager to join a family owned and operated Agricultural Dealership located in Katherine, Northern Territory. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about sales and delivery of customer service excellence. Working with and reporting to the Branch Manager, this key role works closely with company managers and directors on strategic business decisions and is responsible for sales of whole goods and the sales of tractor implements and farm equipment.

The owners are looking for the right person to be a part of their growing business and contribute to the general ongoing success of their business. Attractive remuneration is on offer for the right person.

About the Role:

The role has 5 key areas of responsibility:

  • Whole goods and tractor sales
  • Customer relationship management
  • Sales, quotations, orders
  • Assemble, pre delivery and handover
  • Part Sales
  • Telephone and in store customer service
  • Training and mentoring to Salesperson and assist where necessary
  • Oversee stock ordering and stock reviews
  • Customer Service and Relationships
  • Maintain regular contact with customers during sales process
  • Administration and Support
  • Maintain goods register, job index, other sales administration programs as needed
  • Training
  • Participate in dealer requisite training to improve product knowledge (may require travel)

About You:

  • Passionate about sales and agriculture
  • Professional and friendly first impression (always)
  • Excellence in customer service and communication skills with ability to liaise effectively with people at all levels
  • Experience in a similar sales / ag working environment, managing and ordering stock items and arranging whole goods displays
  • Experience operating a computerised accounting system
  • Highly developed sales skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • Ability to work with minimum direct supervision
  • Well organised and able to multitask
