Job Description

The Risk & Identity Solutions team is responsible designing, enhance and building transaction fraud detection engine in an Agile development environment. Our mission is to reduce risk though enhanced customer authorization, risk monitoring and fraud analytics, and improved data security to provide a secure experience across all form factors.

In this role you will play a critical part in designing and implementing test solutions across all testing phases, establishing, and following quality standards to deliver high quality releases. It’s an opportunity to learn, lead and work on new technologies.

What You’ll Do, Day to Day

  • Take Ownership for design, implementation, evolution and build of testing strategy
  • Automate that strategy where it makes sense Leads efforts to craft, develop, implement, and maintain automated test suites
  • Use your knowledge of testing to influence better software design, promote good engineering practice, bug prevention strategies, testability, security, scalability, reliability and other sophisticated quality concepts
  • Be an advocate for quality, influencing the team to build quality into the release pipeline while always seeking to mitigate risks by choosing the best test approach for each context
  • Collaborate closely with others to explore and suggest innovative strategic and tactical technical solutions to promote the continuous evolution of the testing ecosystem of your product/platform
  • Articulate risk and confidence to advise team decision on product release readiness
  • Partner with other roles to identify and resolve issues throughout the life cycle, coordinating others activities as the need arises
  • Coach and mentor other test engineers

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8 or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Have hands on experience working in technology industry with experience in coding and testing applications. Proven experience as a test lead, working with different teams and collaborating.
  • Bring strong technical proficiency and experience with web applications, web services, Java, JavaScript, J2EE, XML, unit-testing, shell-scripting and RDBMS
  • Be experienced in web-related technologies such as Web Services in REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
  • Be Comfortable writing and performing detailed test cases, test plans and test design documents.
  • Possess a strong background in software testing and proven experience using a multitude of test techniques including functional and non-functional
  • Be a technologist – happy and confident writing code/script to test applications or build test frameworks across different technologies
  • Bring an understanding of systems from all levels: from the “big picture” enterprise-level view to the low level technical view and explain it to others
  • Be expert in working in a multi-functional organization with multiple collaborators

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 106,600.00 to 138,600.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
