An exciting opportunity exists to join the anaesthetic department as a specialist Anaesthetist at Bathurst Base Hospital.
You will be a generalist anaesthetist delivering high quality care to a broad range of specialties in adults and children .
You will be part of a cohesive anaesthetic team providing high quality care to the population of Bathurst and surrounding area.
You will be able to flourish in a department where your generalist skills will be maintained due to the variety of specialties available.
You will be actively encouraged to develop your area of interest.

Working and living in Bathurst

- Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist, and/or overseas trained specialist pathways.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
- Demonstrated effective clinical communication through the use of information technology and written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated commitment to teaching, continuing education, research and quality improvement.
- Availability to participate in an on-call roster and to respond on site within a reasonable time.
- Fellowship of the applicable College.
