About the role:

The Baking Manager is responsible for overseeing all baking operations in the bakery. This includes all baking, baking-related tasks, and kitchen operations. The manager will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment and ensuring that the bakery meets all food safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all baking operations, including baking, baking-related tasks, and kitchen operations.
• Ensure all baked goods are properly mixed, properly baked, and gluten free.
• Ensure all pastries are properly wrapped and packaged to adhere to company standards.
• Ensure all baked goods are gluten free, properly mixed, and properly baked according to company standards.
• Ensure the bakery meets all food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with health department regulations.
• Manage staff in regards to time management and staff support.
• Develop an efficient baking schedule to ensure maximum productivity and quality in the bakery.
• Develop and implement a system for ordering supplies and ingredients as well as supervise the ordering process to ensure quality control.
• Develop an efficient use of time tracking tools in regards to time spent in the kitchen.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in related field.
