Farm Soil Sampler – Seasonal Job Details:

Reporting to a District Operations Manager, you will use GPS equipment and specialized vehicles to collect soil samples from our customer’s fields, to be analyzed for a Farmers Edge laboratory. In this role you will travel and sample a territory in and around Lloydminster, Alberta.

What you’ll be doing:

Travel to assigned rural locations to take core soil samples from grower’s fields
Ensure quality control and accurate recording of sample data
Regularly communicate with leadership to discuss field conditions
Sampling database administration and maintenance
Safe operation of motorized vehicles and specialized sampling equipment

What you’ll need to be successful:

Valid driver’s license* for designated province/state of employment;
Some agricultural experience would be an asset;
Ability to carry up to 20 kg;
Ability to travel, often to rural areas
Availability to work a combination of days, evenings and/or weekends
