Job responsibilities:

– Evaluate current farming operations, identify areas of improvement, and develop strategies for expansion and diversification.

– Seek out opportunities to foster growth Crop Management.

– Ensure the health and quality of crops through regular inspections, pest management, and optimal cultivation techniques.

– Manage planting, harvesting, packing, and distribution.

– Develop, implement, and adjust operational plans as required.

– Oversee the operation, and R & M of farm machinery and equipment.

– Ensure compliance with agricultural best practices, safety regulations, and environmental standards.

– Coordinate the timely packing and delivery of fresh produce.

– Ensure produce is packed and transported to preserve its quality.

– Develop and oversee the farm budget.

– Monitor and manage inventory levels of all agricultural inputs.

SKILL, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

– Higher Secondary School Certificate / Relevant diploma

– At least 03 years relevant experience

– Strong knowledge of organic and sustainable farming methods.

– Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

– Proficiency with farm management software, logistics tools, business analysis tools, and basic computer applications.
