Horticulture Workers (melons) – NT Job Details:

We are looking for 200 horticulture workers for work on melon farms throughout the Northern Territory. The positions are due to start October 2023 and will run for approximately 9 months.

We have positions available at the following locations:

Katherine, NT

Douglas Daly, NT

Ali Curung, NT

You will be part of a team and you will be planting melons, harvesting of melons and other general farm tasks as required.

This is VERY physically demanding work you must be physically fit and able to bend and stretch without any problems.

Staff work 30 hours average over a 7 day roster, starting at 6-7am most days. Staff generally have 1 day off per week. Hourly rate is $28.26 as per Level 1 Casual Employee under the Horticulture Award 2020.
