The Department of Industrial Engineering at the South Dakota School of Mines & Technology invites applications for a temporary part-time Instructor, Lecturer, or Senior Lecturer to teach the Fall 2023 and/or Spring 2024 semester. The successful applicant must have a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field. Preference will be given to those with an earned doctorate in Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related field, and relevant teaching experience. Applicants with expertise in any area of Industrial Engineering or Engineering Management will be considered.
Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a temporary, part-time, non-benefited position. The position may continue semester-by-semester, dependent upon department need, student enrollment, performance, and availability of funding.
The Industrial Engineering program has approximately 140 undergraduate students and 50 graduate students in the Engineering Management program.
