Position Overview: Finning is seeking a passionate and driven Product Support Sales Representative to join our high-performing team.

You are primarily responsible for the growth of the after-market products and services sold by Finning Power Systems to an assigned customer base. You will demonstrate success by leveraging a solution-based selling approach and creating meaningful customer connections.

You will utilize your previous experience in customer service and a knack for problem-solving to offer innovative products and services that empower efficient fleet management.

You are a self-starter, who will apply your past experiences to new situations and bring a commitment to take action to achieve results with a deep sense of self-awareness.

Job Description:

  • Evaluate customer needs, promote and sell products and services to meet those needs and provide quality solutions to address customers’ needs.
  • Develop and maintain customer information and data utilizing Finning (Canada)’s CRM software and Product Improvement Program (PIP) to enable accurate market knowledge, pricing, estimates, and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare accurate and timely forecasts, pricing, estimates and market intelligence of parts and service revenue targets for the assigned customer base to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Establish appropriate targets, goals and objectives that are aligned with corporate strategy.
  • Travel within the region as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of consulting sales experience.
  • Automotive or heavy equipment experience is an asset.
  • Proven sound mechanical knowledge.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Understanding and applying the basic selling concepts; such as, prospecting, introducing benefits, call planning, qualifying, handling objections, follow-ups and closing the sale.
  • Business acumen and understanding of support systems, credit and financing.
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of Power Systems equipment an asset.
  • Knows and adheres to safety procedures.
  • Effective in MS Office package.
