We provide a range of services including accounting, tax planning, specialist business advisory, and investment services to farming, food, and agribusinesses. We are seeking a Quality Compliance Manager to join our Financial Planning team.

The Role

This is a part-time role working in a professional office environment.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance and the Board of Ifac Financial Planning, your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the business in responding to the changing regulatory landscape. Identifying new and emerging legislation, and the impact of same on Ifac Financial Planning.

• Reviewing procedures, documents, and marketing materials for compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and signing off / approving such literature for production and circulation.

• Reviewing client new business files to ensure that Advisers and their Support team are operating within the Central Bank of Ireland’s Consumer Protection Code, as well as our own Advisory Process.

• Providing relevant Compliance training to the business and team as required.

• Oversight and management of the Error process.

• Assisting the Head of Compliance with respect to interaction with regulators.

• Overseeing statutory record-keeping requirements.

Candidate

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual who can work on their own initiative with;

• Knowledge of relevant legislation e.g., CPC.

• LCI Qualification or working toward same.

• Life & Pensions compliance experience ideally, financial services experience is required as a minimum.

• Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to take ownership of issues and share learning’s and feedback with the team.
